After working his way through Rutgers Law School, Newark, Mr. Kirby worked as an associate for a law firm, and then was made partner, specializing is representing insurance companies and defendants who were sued in personal injury cases. This experience has given him a unique perspective and experience in understanding how insurance companies handle claims, and what they take into consideration in valuing, settling, and trying cases.

In 1989, Mr. Kirby and Robert Rosenberg formed a partnership dedicated to representing the injured. That practice has now grown to include partners Michael P. Cahill and Kevin M. Stankowitz.

Over the past ten years, Mr. Kirby's practice has increasingly focused on individuals who have been injured in the course of their employment. He has obtained and continues to obtain significant monetary awards and recoveries, practicing primarily now in New Jersey Workers' Compensation Courts. One of these cases was published in the state's legal texts, and is relied upon by other lawyers in support of their cases.

Mr. Stankowitz established a name for himself during his years at that firm as an aggressive, thorough, and hard working advocate, who at the same time is compassionate when dealing with personal injury clients.

His jury trial experience and expertise are invaluable for his clients when it comes time to try their case.

Mr. Stankowitz joined with Mssrs. Rosenberg, Kirby, and Cahill as a partner in June 2004. He now concentrates solely on representing people injured by the fault of others.
